ITEG awarded UNDP contract to generate forestr map for Dragash

ITEG has been awarded a contract from UNDP to generate a forest map for Dragash Municipality from satellite imagery. The work will involve imagery correction, implementing a classification scheme to classify forest extent and performing an accuracy assessment of the classification. Within the same project, contour data will be extracted and provided to the UNDP together with a 3D fly-through of the area with satellite imagery draped over the elevation model.
