About us

Based in Prishtina, ITEG (IT, Project Engineering and GIS Solutions) was established in February 2009 through outsourcing at IPKO Telecommunications. The founding team came together in June 2006 when IPKO set up its GIS unit, and had applied GIS since Kosovo's humanitarian and reconstruction phase in 1999. IPKO remains an important client, while independence has let us diversify our projects and clients.

From the field survey to the system you use every day

ITEG is a Kosovar company specialised in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and information technology for corporate and public clients. We run a fully equipped unit for data capture and analysis, work with the major GIS and IT packages, and handle a wide range of vector and raster formats.

GIS, surveying and cadastre

Our GIS services deliver value-added outputs that help clients make better-informed decisions. We analyse spatial information with a range of software packages and programming languages. Satellite imagery gives insight into change over time: we have mapped deforestation and afforestation in western Kosovo, the extent of aromatic plant species in pilot areas and changing agricultural land use.

Accurate field surveys are the basis for planning and delivering any project. Our surveyors, civil engineers and architects, together with our partners, form the team that takes a project from sketch to on-site supervision.

IT and WebGIS

We cover a wide spectrum of IT services: databases and geodatabases, programming and web development, through to network configuration and the maintenance of routers, switches and firewalls. Our WebGIS platforms are used by regulators, water utilities and the Central Election Commission.
